People on the Move
Steve Mills has joined Northwest Realty Consultants in Albany as a broker/consultant and will handle real estate transactions in Benton, Linn and Polk counties. He is an Oregon native and a third-generation real estate broker.

Matt Webb has joined John & Phil's Toyota-Subaru in Corvallis as a sales and leasing consultant. In addition, Webb will help coordinate the new Scion line of cars for John & Phil's. The Scion franchise will be added this summer.
Webb, a 1992 Oregon State University graduate, previously was an account representative at Cellular One for Benton and Lincoln counties.

American Property Management Inc. has promoted Jessica Doughman from property manager of Grand Oaks Apartment Homes in Corvallis to customer service manager for resident retention and outside marketing in the company's Bellevue, Wash., corporate office. Doughman's responsibilities will include training managers around the West.
Officers and Directors
Gerald Millis of Philomath is the new chairman of the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees. Millis previously served as vice chairman and has been a board member since 1983.
Other new officers are Ed Knecht, vice chairman; Steve Uerlings, secretary; and Claire Thomas, treasurer.
Elected as new trustees were: Victoria Fridley, Bob Grant, Jeff Goracke, Janet Magedanz and Ron Welty.
Re-elected as returning trustees were Bob Esterling, Denny Hedges, Paul Goodmonson, Dr. Thomas Griffith, Doug Ingalls, Doris Johnston, Ed Knecht, Rose Kraft, Dr. John Lang, Dr. Leon Malkin, Paul Marriott, Hans Neukomm, Mario Pastega, Brenda Speth, Barte Starker, Claire Thomas, Harriet Turner, Carol Lee Woodstock and Jan Zajicek.
The foundation, established in 1972, raises and allocates funds to support programs and services at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. The group's current major project is raising funds for the Mario Pastega House on the hospital campus.

Lee Wayne Corp. of Sterling, Ill., the largest distributorship of promotional products in the United States and Europe, has acquired JII Promotions. JII's longtime Corvallis representative, Richard Champion, has affiliated with Lee Wayne and will act as the company's local sales rep. Champion, a 28-year Corvallis resident, has been selling promotional products in the area since 1985.
Take a Bow
Expressions in Bloom has been recognized by the florists' organization FTD as a Top Member for 2004. The Corvallis florist was ranked in the top 75 of FTD's 25,000 members worldwide and ranked No. 1 in Oregon and Washington. Top Member recognition is awarded to members who have transmitted record numbers of floral orders after meeting standards for service and membership.
Owners Jonathon Boundy and Twila Weder are being taken by FTD on an all-expense-paid trip to St. Kitts in the West Indies for a week in March, along with other top members nationwide.
Training and Development
Dava Behrens, a real estate broker at Coldwell Banker Valley Brokers, has earned the Coldwell Banker Previews property specialist designation. To date, only 5 percent of the more than 90,000 Coldwell Banker sales associates have been awarded this designation.
Coldwell Banker Previews is a sales program designed for marketing luxury residential properties to affluent buyers worldwide.

Len Gerken of Northwest Dental in Corvallis was named an associate fellow in the World Clinical Laser Institute at the institute's recent West Coast symposium in San Diego. Gerken received more than 20 hours of clinical instruction in the use of the Waterlase laser on oral hard and soft tissues.
Profit and Loss
Agilent Technologies Inc. has reported revenues $1.64 billion for its first fiscal quarter ended Jan. 31, 16 percent ahead of last year. First quarter GAAP net earnings were $71 million, or 14 cents per diluted share, compared to a loss of $369 million, or 78 cents per share, in last year's first quarter.
Agilent, a maker of testing and measurement equipment, has a facility in Corvallis.
