Destination Imagination
A story on page A3 of Tuesday's newspaper omitted the name of one of the students who participated in the Destination Imagination competition over the weekend in Pleasant Hill. A "Rising Stars" team of students from Hoover Elementary School — Divya Vasudevan, Sachin Betrabet, Noah Schaefers and Pranav Sharan — took on the challenge of "A Surprise Trip," which involved storytelling and rhyming.
Couples workshop
Admission is free to the couples workshop, "Love's Journey: Relationship as a Path of Awakening," at 6:30 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, 1165 N.W. Monroe Ave. A brief on the workshop published on page A10 of Saturday's paper incorrectly indicated that there was a registration fee.
Candidates file
A story on page A2 of Wednesday's newspaper gave the incorrect political party for U.S. House Fifth District Democratic candidate Andrew Kaza.
In the same story, the races for county commissioner were switched. Republican candidate Randy Killen will face incumbent Democrat Jay Dixon for position 2 and Republican candidate David Smith will face incumbent Democrat Annabelle Jaramillo for position 3.
The Gazette-Times regrets the errors.
