CORVALLIS — Andre Kole, the magician that other magicians come to when looking for new ideas, will materialize for a family-oriented magic show at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, at the LaSells Stewart Center, 875 S.W. 26th St. Tickets are $8 and are available in advance at Grass Roots Books & Music and at the door.
Millions of people in 78 countries of the world have been mystified, entertained and inspired by the performances of Andre Kole. The Society of American Magicians and The Academy of Magical Arts in Hollywood have both honored him with their most prestigious awards.
Kole is also recognized as one of the leading inventors of magical illusions. The International Magicians Society unamimously chose Andre Kole to receive their coveted Merlin Award for Magic Inventor of the Decade.
Kole will present a magical extravaganza involving tons of elaborate equipment, lighting, music, costumes and special theatrical effects. Illusions planned will involve people mysteriously appearing, disappearing, dematerializing and levitating. Another part of the act will be a presentation relating to the spiritual dimension of life.
