Our annual Focus edition next March will be devoted to people who make things happen. We're looking for readers' suggestions about people who fit the bill.
People who make things happen are motivators and organizers. They inspire us, make us want to do our best, and often they go above and beyond in what they do.
They may be our neighbors, our teachers, our pastors. They may be co-workers, managers, farmers, entrepreneurs or inventors. They may be members of the armed forces serving in Iraq. They may be athletes, coaches, artists, dancers — you name it.
"Focus 2005: People Who Make Things Happen" will appear each Friday in March.
To suggest someone for "People Who Make Things Happen," include the person's name, phone number or e-mail address, and briefly tell us why this is a person who makes things happen. Also include your daytime phone number.
Submissions can be sent via e-mail to bennett.hall@lee.net or mailed to Bennett Hall, Corvallis Gazette-Times, P.O. Box 368, Corvallis, OR 97339.
