5 arrested after warrants served

Drug probe brings searches at two homes

By the Gazette-Times

Corvallis police arrested five people during a drug investigation near Lincoln Elementary School on Wednesday morning, according to a news release.

A total of 11 grams of methamphetamine, 100 grams of marijuana, numerous items of stolen property, $4,500 in cash and armor-piercing ammunition was seized from two houses and a travel trailer, according to the Corvallis Police Department.

Search warrants were served simultaneously on the two houses at 7 a.m. Wednesday.

At 2455 S.E. Thompson Ave., resident Neil L. Allen, 42, was arrested on suspicion of delivery of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school and theft by receiving stolen property.

The methamphetamine, cash and armor piercing ammo were found at Allen’s residence, along with an excessive amount of tools, thousands of keys, thousands of computer parts, thousands of bicycle parts and numerous bicycle frames with altered serial numbers, police said.

At 133 S.W. Tunison Ave., resident Matthew M. Holloway, 28, was arrested on suspicion of delivery of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of meth and more than one ounce of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school and endangering the welfare of a minor.

About 80 grams of packaged marijuana and meth residue were found at the residence, investigators said.

A 29-year-old woman there also was cited and released for endangering the welfare of a minor, which is a misdemeanor. She was the only one of the five not taken to Benton County jail.

A consent search was done on a travel trailer at 2320 S.W. Pickford Ave. Residents Jason Witter, 32, and Emily Coddington, 23, were arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and meth within 1,000 feet of a school and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Police spokesman Ron Noble said he believed information about the travel trailer was discovered by officers executing the search warrant.
