Linebacker commits to Beavers

Corvallis Gazette-Times

Mana Lolotai, a 6-foot, 221-pound linebacker out of Honolulu’s Kamehameha High, is the latest verbal commitment to the Oregon State football team.

Lolotai is not nationally ranked, but rated as a two-star athlete by Scout.com. He’s a three-year starter for Kamehameha, and was named to the second-team all-state by the Honolulu Advertiser.

His coach Ross Tannehill says Lolotai plays faster than his 4.7-second 40-yard dash time.

OSU has 24 known commitments, with four junior college players already signed. The rest must wait to sign their letters of intent until Feb. 1.
