BENTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

WEDNESDAY

DRUG POSSESSION — 10:29 p.m. Fifth and Kelly streets, Monroe. Deputies cited a 25-year-old Cheshire man for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana after they seized a pipe and 2.3 grams of the drug.

ASSAULT — 5:31 p.m. 4400 block of Northeast Highway 20. Deputies arrested a 14-year-old at the Children’s Farm Home after he reportedly punched a 17-year-old twice in the face. The older boy was said to have uttered a racial slur.

TUESDAY

TRASHED APARTMENT — A 33-year-old Corvallis man reported his live-in girlfriend trashed his apartment because he decided to play soccer on Valentine’s Day instead of spending the evening with her. A report said the 29-year-old woman wrote on the walls, smashed beer bottles against the floor and ceiling and dumped a cat litter box “all over his bed.”

WEDNESDAY

DUII — 2:37 a.m. Northwest Van Buren Avenue and Kings Boulevard. Police arrested a 27-year-old Corvallis man for driving under the influence; blood-alcohol level .16 percent.

IDENTITY THEFT — 3:32 p.m. 200 block of Northwest 35th Street. A 63-year-old Corvallis woman said someone in Vallejo, Calif., used her name and Social Security number to open a Pacific Bell phone line two years ago. The woman recently received a collections notice for $954.

THURSDAY

DRUG POSSESSION — 1:56 a.m. 1000 block of Northwest Fillmore Avenue. Police cited a 21-year-old Corvallis man for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana after they responded to his apartment for a report of a domestic disturbance. Police said they found a water bong, a baggy of pot and a baby food jar containing marijuana.
