ALBANY — Jim Lawrence of Albany received a Bicycle Transportation Alliance award at the annual Alice B. Toeclips dinner.

Lawrence received the award for helping more than 300 kids attend the alliance’s 10-hour long class last year. He attended each class and raised money to help pay for the classes.

The award was presented March 5 at in Portland. Lawrence was one of six winners from a list of 43 nominees.
