JULY 7

HOLEY MOLEY — 4:48 p.m., 500 block South 13th Street, Philomath. A 44-year-old Salem man operating a piercing booth at the Philomath Frolic & Rodeo was found in violation of registration of body-piercing technicians. He also was arrested on a warrant. The Oregon Health Licensing Agency said there are numerous complaints against the individual and his business.

JULY 12

FIREWORKS — 12:36 p.m., 2300 block Greasy Creek Road, Philomath. A 34-year-old man and 19-year-old man from Albany were cited for sale, possession and use of illegal fireworks.

SATURDAY

STOLEN TRACTOR — 6:39 p.m., 5400 block Northwest Wintercreek Drive. Tractor stolen from barn sometime between June 26 and report. Tractor valued at $19,000.

MOTORCYCLE CRASH — 10:30 p.m., Granger Road. A 20-year-old Albany man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.

MONDAY

SWITCHEROO DUII — 10:37 p.m., Old River Road, milepost 4. A 40-year-old Monroe man and a 34-year-old Monroe woman were arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and two counts of reckless endangering. The duo reportedly switched places in a moving vehicle because the man was driving while suspended. Two children also were in the vehicle.

JULY 9

CAR CRASH — 4:07 p.m., Circle Boulevard near Ninth Street. An 88-year-old Corvallis woman blacked out while driving her car. The passenger, a 57-year-old St. Helens woman, grabbed the wheel and tried to steer the vehicle away from a telephone pole but hit a tree instead. The vehicle turned over after hitting the tree and a retaining wall. Both occupants were taken to the hospital. A driver retest for medical reasons was attached to the report.

THURSDAY

ICE CREAM MAN OH MAN — 5:48 p.m., 1300 block Northwest 10th Street. A 20-year-old ice cream man was cited for unlawful amplified sound after a man complained, for the third time, he said.

FRIDAY

STOLEN FISHING GEAR — 7:50 p.m., Southwest Fifth Street at Jefferson Avenue. Pickup window broken out and more than $800 in fly rods and reels taken.

SUNDAY

CAR CLOUT — 3:51 a.m., 2600 block Garryanna Drive. A 19-year-old Corvallis man was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, three counts of attempted entry into a vehicle, second-degree theft, resisting arrest and possession of burglar’s tools. Officers responded to a car prowl in progress and contacted the teen, who refused to stop and then resisted arrest. A car stereo was found in his backpack.
