Oregon State quarterback Matt Moore was named the Pacific-10 Conference Offense Player of the Week for leading the Beavers to a 35-32 victory over Hawaii on Saturday night.
Moore completed 11 of 17 passes for 245 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. His 80-yarder to Sammie Stroughter in the third quarter turned the game in OSU’s favor.
The senior has thrown 161 consecutive passes without an interception, the longest current streak in the nation.
“He’s playing with a lot of confidence right now,” coach Mike Riley said.
Perry update
An MRI was done on offensive guard Jeremy Perry’s left knee Monday afternoon to see if there is any ligament damage, Riley said. He was injured on the final drive of Saturday night’s game. Results will be back in the next few days.
“Hopefully, he’ll be OK with some rest before the Sun Bowl,” Riley said.
