Towels, washcloths needed for charity

Bath towels for homeless clients at Community Outreach Inc. are in very short supply. Using donations from community members, Community Outreach provides bath towels, washcloths, and hygiene supplies for clients to take showers.

Donations of bath towels and washcloths can be delivered to 865 N.W. Reiman Ave. in Corvallis.

Recently as many as 50 individuals per day have been showering at Community Outreach. They are men, women, and children in the Emergency and Transitional Housing programs as well as homeless clients who shower at the agency using the Homeless Emergency Services program. Typically, extremely low-income clients arrive at Community Outreach without towels.
