All nine Beavers in the line-up had a plate appearance in the first and second innings.
Oregon State extended its lead in the second with a two-run single by Stefanie Ewing and hits by Paige Lowe and Alana Ford.

The Beavers offense came alive in the bottom of the fifth inning as Lowe broke a 1-1 tie with a 2-out bloop single to shallow right. Ewing followed with a run-scoring single and Young capped the rally with her fourth home run of the season, a 3-run shot over the left field fence.
