OSU IN BRIEF

Coach added

Nestor Iparraguirre has been named as the Oregon State volleyball team’s new volunteer volleyball coach, coach Terry Liskevych announced Friday.

Iparraguirre has more than 10 years of coaching experience. He most recently was head coach at Philomath High School from 2001-03 and led the Warriors to the 2001 state tournament. He also coached the Corvallis Volleyball Club’s U-16 team in 1999-2000.

Originally from Lima, Peru, Iparraguirre is a 2001 OSU graduate with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science. He also plays for a competitive traveling team from Portland. Iparraguirre also assisted at Southwestern Oregon Community College from 1994-97.

Single game tickets on sale

Single game football tickets for OSU games will go on sale at 8:30 a.m. Monday at 1-800-GO-BEAVS or in person at Gill Coliseum.

The Take 3 Plan also remains available. It allows fans to create a customized ticket package by selecting the games they wish to attend for only $105.

Season-ticket sales have eclipsed the 2006 total, but remain available in all donor and non-donor areas of the stadium.
