What are your goals in life once football is over for you?
I want to travel the world. I like to travel, catch the plane.
What are your hobbies that keep you busy between practices?
I love to play Madden. I can beat whoever, anybody on the team. And I like to work out.
What is your favorite type of music?
I like the Hawaiian music and local jams.
Do you have a favorite class or area of study?
Communications, I’d say. I don’t like anything else.
If you could have a dinner conversation with a historical figure, dead or alive, who would it be?
Orlando Pace, just to talk football. I always loved the Rams from Day 1. Pace is one of the best tackles to play the game.
What would be served at that dinner?
Some lau lau, some Hawaii food. That would be the first time for him tasting Hawaiian food.
Who are the biggest influences in your life?
My mom and dad (George and Sherry). They are the reason I’m out here today at Oregon State.
What is something people don’t know about you that would surprise them?
I’m soft-hearted. I have emotions just like everybody else. A lot of people see me as something else, especially with the way I act on the field. I’m soft-hearted. I’m romantic.
Do you have a pet peeve?
The other team. Anybody on the other team.
What was your childhood fear?
I was afraid of heights.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Late-night snacks. Around midnight, if I’m not asleep by midnight, I’m probably going to eat something.
If you were stranded on a deserted island with one person, who would you want it to be?
Seta Latu. She’s my girlfriend right now.
Do you have a special talent?
I can sing, just local music and love songs.
If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?
I’d take every drug off this earth, and alcohol. I don’t think people need that in their system.
