Running back Jeremy Francis of El Camino College in the Los Angeles area signed a letter of intent for the Oregon State football team Wednesday.
The 6-foot-1, 220-pounder is rated as the 47th best junior college prospect in the nation by Rivals.com.
Francis had 269 yards and two touchdowns rushing, and 180 yards receiving and a touchdown last season. He helped El Camino to the state title game. He is from Lake Howell High in Winter Park, Fla.
This is the third midyear junior college player to sign with the Beavers. He joins El Camino teammate offensive lineman Brent McNeil and defensive tackle Stephen Paea from Snow College in Utah. McNeil and Paea signed letters of intent Dec. 21.
The midyear junior college transfer signing period continues through Jan. 15. The national letter of intent day for high school seniors is Feb. 6.
