Jerome LeMaster Jr.

Jerome Lloyd “Jay” LeMaster Jr., 80, died Dec. 27, 2007, in New York.

The son of a professor of business law at Oregon State University, Jay revised the bylaws of the International Association of Laryngectomees.

Before becoming a laryngectomee in 1991, he was a self-employed artist and illustrator and a graduate of OSU and the Art Center College of Design in California.

He spoke to thousands of students on tobacco awareness and served as a volunteer helping new laryngectomees and their families.
