Brent and Marie Boyter have joined RE/MAX Integrity in Corvallis. Veteran real estate brokers, the couple have long lived in the area. Brent holds a B.S. in business and secondary teaching credentials from Southern Utah University. Marie graduated from Southern Utah University with a B.S. in business with a double major in accounting and business administration.

Kevin Grant has joined Linn-Benton Mediation Services as a program coordinator. He will supervise the agency’s Small Claims Court, Manufactured Dwelling, Supervised Visitation and general community mediation services. He is a native of Albany, a resident of Corvallis, and a graduate of Oregon State University, where he majored in political science. Linn-Benton Mediation Services is a nonprofit agency which provides mediation and conflict resolution services and training in Linn and Benton counties.

The Oregon Hospice Association has named Mary Beth Seida and Sandie Helmick to the 2007 Oregon Hospice Dream Team. Seida was selected Home Health Aide of the Year and Helmick was selected Volunteer of the Year. Nominations were submitted by more than 50 Oregon hospices. Both women were recognized for their work with Benton Hospice Service. Seida has worked at Benton Hospice Service since 1999. She was cited for her “meticulous, compassionate care” and for the dignity and respect she shows to all patients. Helmick, a hospice volunteer since 2003, was cited for her “wisdom and steady presence.” Helmick is known for her ready willingness to do any task and often states to the Benton Hospice Service volunteer coordinator, “When I am in town, I am yours!”
Reinvestment
On Saturday, Footwise in Corvallis will celebrate Heart and Sole, by donating 30 percent of the day’s profits to Linn-Benton Food Share. The Birkenstock specialty store is located at 301 S.W. Madison Ave. Footwise stores in Portland, Eugene and Hood River will also be donating to local food banks in their communities this February. Footwise has a goal of donating more than $1,000 to local food banks during Heart and Sole.
