The Oregon State men’s golf team was selected for the NCAA Western Regional tournament on Monday.
It will be played on May 15-17 at the Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Wash.
The Beavers are seeded 14th in the regional and hope to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
The top ten teams in the regional advance to the NCAA finals, to be held May 28-31 on the Kampen Course at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Ind.
OSU won the team championship at the Husky Invitational at the Gold Mountain Golf Club earlier this year.
Senior James Allenby, who is ranked 32nd in the country this week by Golfweek/Sagarin, was the medalist.
Last year, the Beavers tied Wake Forest and East Tennessee State for ninth place at the regional but were eliminated from NCAA contention in a tiebreakeer.
