Bush Pilots play Sunnyside-Up

Second Saturdays benefit hosts bluegrass act

CORVALLIS — The Bush Pilots will be front and center for the Second Saturdays Benefit Concert from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 10. The jazzy, bluegrass band features Pete Kozak on banjo, mandolin and vocals; Ron Benshoof on guitar and vocals; and Rainier Farmer on bass. The Bush Pilots have released a couple of CDs, “For Cryin’ Out Loud” and “Acoustic Psycho Technical Slamgrass.”

All proceeds from the Second Saturdays benefit concerts are donated to local organizations dedicated to the cause of peace and justice. Proceeds for this May concert will go to Veterans for Peace, local chapter 132.
