Henry Clay Dickerson Jr.

Sept.19, 1924 — June 9, 2008

Henry Dickerson was born in Pauls Valley, Okla., to Henry Clay Sr. and Leona Dickerson. He married Mary Dickerson and was a mill worker in Central Oregon and the mid-Willamette Valley. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. Henry also built his own home.

He is survived by children Henry Dickerson III of Albany, Steve Dickerson of Eugene, Patsy McNeely of Philomath, Betty Zehner of Grand Ronde, and Darline Joyner of Albany; brothers Jim Dickerson of Salem and Alvis Dickerson of Arkansas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Henry has now gone home to be with his wife, Mary. Memorial donations may be made to Benton Hospice service. Arrangements are by McHenry Funeral Home.
