The Doors Legacy Band brings its roadhouse blues to Platinum at 10 p.m. Friday, July 18.
Doors Legacy Band breaks on through to Platinum

CORVALLIS — The Doors Legacy Band lights Platinum’s fire at 10 p.m. Friday, July 18. The tribute band is coming to town as part of its “Strange Days Tour.” The members mix music, theater and poetry, seeking to recreate the late-’60s sound and feel of the Los Angeles club Whisky A Go Go.

Blending vintage instruments, costumes and swagger, The Doors Legacy Band channels the spirit of Doors leader Jim Morrison into a rock-concert experience. With a playlist of more than 30 original Doors songs, The Doors Legacy Band recreates the “Doors Experience” as accurately as possible.
