Sheryl and Bill Burchett, of Philomath, watch the fireworks over Hewlett Packard from the Carmike Cinemas parking lot Saturday night along with their grandchildren Kyra Burchett, 10, from Philomath, and Hilary Furtado,16, from Bend. The family was surprised to see the fireworks on their way out of the theater after watching a showing of ‘Journey to the Center of the Earth.’ The fireworks were part of Hewlett Packard’s annual picnic for employees and their families and friends.
