GREELEY, Colo. - The Oregon State women’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Northern Colorado in the finale of the Clarion Inn Classic as the Bears’ Sydney Vander Velde connected on a penalty kick with six minutes remaining for the only score on Sunday.

The Beavers (4-2) nearly jumped out to a quick lead in the fifth minute, however Caitlin Seeley’s shot hit the post and bounced back into the field of play as the game remained scoreless.

Rachael Axon, Brittany Galindo, Najma Homidi and Red Nixon made the all-tournament team for Oregon State.

The Beavers return to action on Friday at New Hampshire.
