Brandenburg-Tedder wedding

Liz Brandenburg and Phil Tedder Jr. were married Aug. 3 under a driftwood arch at South Beach. A reception followed at Stone Crest Cellars.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Christine Brandenburg of Portland. She attended Lincoln High School in Portland and graduated from Chapman University in Orange, Calif. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television and is a production coordinator in that field.

The groom is the son of Philip and Helen Tedder of Corvallis. He attended Crescent Valley High School and graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in geography. He is the owner of Tedder Stone, an architectural and structural concrete company specializing in skateboard parks. The couple met 12 years ago at the Burnside Skate Park.

The matron of honor was Tanya Golden and the maid of honor was Elena Hullis. Attendants included the Andrea Wyckoff and the bride’s sisters Sarah and Amy Brandenburg. Luna Golden was the flower girl. The best man was Trevor Stanton. Groomsmen were Wes Cording and the groom’s brothers, Wes and Scott Tedder.

The couple honeymooned in the Cayman Islands for 10 beautiful days between hurricanes Fay and Gustav. They make their home in Newberg.
