BREMERTON, Wash. — The Oregon State men’s golf team shot its best round of the tournament but dropped two places and took eighth on Tuesay at the Husky Invitational.
Diego Velasquez led the Beavers with a 2-under-par 70 on Tuesday and finished in 16th place with a 6-over-par 222. Washington won the tournament and Chris Killmer of the Huskies was the medalist at 5-under 211.
The Beavers compete next this Friday and Saturday at the Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, Calif. Wyoming is the host team. Tuesday’s results:
