Sorenson-Toney wedding

Lisa Sorenson and Michael Toney were married Aug. 16 at the First Presbyterian Church in Corvallis. The Rev. Linda Gebetsberger was the officiant.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Mary Sorenson of Monmouth. She is a 1990 graduate of Central High School in Monmouth and holds a bachelor of science in general science from the University of Oregon and a master's in physical therapy from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. She is employed at Corvallis Sport and Spine Physical Therapy.

The groom is the son of David and Vicki Toney of Athens, Ala. He is a 1991 graduate of Athens High School and has a bachelor of science in metallurgical engineering from the University of Alabama. He is a metallurgical engineer at Wah Chang in Albany.

The matron of honor was Melanie Sorenson. Stacey Clay was the bridesmaid. The flower girl was Abby Toney, niece. The best man was Bobby Walz. Joe Adams was the groomsman. The ringbearer was Bastian Sorenson, nephew.

The couple honeymooned in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and the San Juan Islands.
