Sale table at mall will benefit SafeHaven

The sale of pet-related items Friday and Saturday at the Target entrance of the Heritage Mall in Albany will benefit SafeHaven Humane Society.

For sale at Tami’s Table will be hats, T-shirts, sweatshirts, bags, and toys and treats for dogs and cats.

There also will be dog coats, hand-crafted pet beds and more.

SafeHaven has operated since 1986 and places about 1,000 dogs and cats into homes every year.

The shelter receives no county or city funding, and all operating costs are paid for through donations, memorials, bequests, special events, and adoption and intake fees.

Shelter hours at 33071 Highway 34 S.E. are noon to 5 p.m. Saturday through Monday and noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

For more information, call (541) 928-2789 or visit www.safehavenhumane.com.
