LINCOLN, Neb. — The Oregon State wrestling team concluded a busy Friday by losing 34-8 to No. 6 Nebraska.

Heinrich Barnes (149) was the only Beaver to earn bonus points, as he won by technical fall. Kelly Kubec (133) was OSU’s other winner vs. the Cornhuskers.

In Friday’s first dual, Barnes, Jon Brascetta (157) and Clayton Jack (hwt.) each had pins in a 40-3 rout of Augustana College, a Division III team.

Jake Gonzales (125), Kubec, Brandon Perkins (174) and Kyle Bressler (184) all earned bonus points.

The Beavers meet Wisconsin at 11 a.m. Sunday in Madison.
