CORVALLIS — At 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, Corvallis will kick off the holiday season with the 24th annual Corvallis Community Christmas Parade. The parade will run north on Fourth Street from Washington Avenue to Jackson Avenue and include floats, walking groups, dogs, kinetic sculptures, music and other exciting entries.
The theme of this year’s parade is “Celebrate the Beauty of Your Christmas Dreams.” Grand Marshal for this year’s parade is Miss Oregon USA Mary Lee Horch, who is a Corvallis native.
At the end of the parade, a ceremony will be held at the courthouse featuring Horch and others. The Singing Leslies will lead the singing of holiday carols and the ceremony will end with the traditional lighting of the Benton County Courthouse and the Holiday Tree.
