Terrence Glenn Skinner

Terrence Glenn Skinner, 29, of Halsey, died Saturday at Samaritan Albany General Hospital.

Terrence was born in Miller, S.D., to Lee and Sharlene Campbell Skinner.

He came to Brownsville in 1988 and graduated from Central Linn High School in 1998. Terrence received his Associate of Arts Degree in early childhood development from Linn-Benton Community College. He worked at Zion Lutheran Church, then Growing Oaks Children’s Center, and most recently as a teaching assistant at the Children’s Farm Home.

Terrence was an avid Oregon Ducks fan and enjoyed sports and music. Every year, he helped with Family Bible Church youth camp and assisted with the church youth.

Terrence is survived by his wife, Lyndsay Skinner, of Halsey; parents, Lee and Sharlene Skinner of Halsey; grandparents, Warren and Carole Skinner of Miller, S.D.; and grandmother Donna Campbell of Harrisburg; and brother Chase Skinner of Halsey.

A viewing will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Fisher Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Central Linn High School.

To help defray expenses, memorial gifts can be given to his wife, Lyndsay Skinner.
