Tuesday, Dec. 30

METH BUY
— 7:25 p.m., 2500 block Southwest Third Street. Michael Gary Simmer, 43, of Corvallis was arrested for distribution of a controlled subject after he sold .61 grams of methamphetamine to a police informant. Simmers also had an outstanding warrant. Police found an additional 5.04 grams of meth during the investigation.

Wednesday, Jan. 1

WRONG WAY DUII
— 2:17 a.m., Northwest Van Buren Avenue and Kings Boulevard. Ramon Navarro, 24, of Corvallis was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants, .18 percent blood-alcohol-content, stopped for going the wrong way on Van Buren.

Thursday, Jan. 2

TAXI CRASH
— 11:33 p.m., Highway 99W north of Buchanan Avenue. A southbound taxi van went out of control on the icy road, rolling multiple times. The driver, a 35-year-old Corvallis man, and his passenger, a 48-year-old Corvallis man, were taken to the hospital.

Friday, Jan. 3

KNIFE MENACING
— 5:22 a.m., 1600 block Northwest Division. Wendy Bevard, 34, of Corvallis was arrested for menacing. She allegedly pulled a kitchen knife on a male, and after he took the knife from her, she punched him in the face.

Saturday, Jan. 3

GUN THREAT
— 4:08 a.m., 4700 block Bramblewood Lane, Albany. Paula Buck, 26, of Albany was arrested for Assault IV, menacing, harassment and unlawful use of a weapon. According to a police report, Buck got into an argument with a resident and pulled out a gun and pointed it at that man. The resident and one of his friends wrestled the gun away from Buck.

MARYS PEAK CRASH — 9:22 p.m., Highway 34, about a half-mile east of Marys Peak Road. An Acura Integra crashed front-end first into an embankment. Roadways were extremely treacherous due to icy conditions. The passenger in the car, an 18-year-old Philomath man, was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Sunday, Jan. 4

DUII
— 1:10 a.m., Northwest North Albany Road and Hickory Street. Brian Braught, 46, of Albany, was arrested for DUII, .16 percent blood-alcohol-content, after being stopped for a traffic violation.

DUII
— 2:10 a.m., 11th Street and Jefferson Avenue. James Crawford, 21, of Corvallis was arrested for DUII, .15 percent blood-alcohol-content, stopped for failure to maintain a single lane of travel and driving on a shredded tire.
