Here's a look at Colorado, which hosts Oregon State on Thursday night in a Pac-12 game.

The Buffaloes (10-10, 0-7 Pac-12) have struggled in conference play despite returning four starters and eight players overall from a team that finished fifth in the Pac-12 last season and reached the NCAA tournament.

Colorado also added Derrick White, a former NCAA Division II All-American at Colorado-Colorado Springs averaging 16.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.1 steals this season.

White, a senior guard, is averaging 19.3 points and shooting 94.6 percent at the free-throw line in Pac-12 games. White has scored 20 or more points in four conference games, including three of the last four. He had 35 points in a Jan. 5 one-point loss at Arizona State.

The Buffaloes also get contributions from senior wing Xavier Johnson (15.5 points, 6.1 rebounds), junior guard George King (11.3 points, 7.3 rebounds) and senior forward Wesley Gordon (7.8 points, 8 rebounds).

Colorado has struggled in close games this season, losing six by single digits. The Buffaloes have lost four conference games by three points or less, including the last three contests in a row. Last week, they lost road games to the Washington schools both by two points in overtime.

The Buffaloes have wins against No. 24 Xavier and Texas.

Colorado is second in the Pac-12 in offensive rebounds (12.2 per game), third in rebounding overall (39.6), 10th in 3-point percentage (33.8) and 11th in steals (4.2) and turnover margin (minus-2.0).

In Pac-12 games, the Buffaloes are first in rebounds (38.3), third in free-throw percentage (74.1) and 12th in 3-point percentage defense (42.7) and steals (3.6).
