Here's a look at Colorado, Oregon State's opponent Thursday for a Pac-12 game at Gill Coliseum.

The Buffaloes (15-11, 5-8) have won five of their last six, a stretch that began with an 85-78 win against the Beavers Jan. 26 in Boulder.

Senior guard Derrick White, in his first year playing for the Buffaloes after transferring from Colorado-Colorado Springs, is the team's leading scorer at 17 points per game and also averages four rebounds and 4.2 assists.

Colorado also gets contributions from senior wing Xavier Johnson (14.7 points, 6.0 rebounds), junior guard George King (11.6 points, 7.1 rebounds) and senior forward Wesley Gordon (7.4 points, 7.3 rebounds).

The Buffaloes' only loss in the last six was a 77-66 defeat at California on Feb. 5 in which Gordon and Johnson served the first game of two-game suspensions for a violation of team rules.

Colorado is tops in Pac-12 games with 12.8 offensive rebounds and is third in rebounds overall at 37.1. The Beavers beat the Buffaloes on the boards, 32-31, in the first meeting.

In Pac-12 games, White is second in scoring (18.9) and free throw percentage (85.5). He has seven 20-point games in conference, including 35 in a Jan. 5 game at Arizona State.

White scored just five points in 29 minutes against the Beavers the first time. But Colorado got 24 points (8-15 shooting, including four 3-pointers) in 27 minutes off the bench and 15 points from freshman guard Bryce Peters.

In that game, Oregon State's Stevie Thompson had a then-career-high 26 points, six rebounds and three assists and Drew Eubanks 27 points (10-13 shooting), 11 rebounds and three blocks. That's Eubanks' career-high point total in a conference game.

The Beavers shot 54.9 percent, their second-highest mark of the season and best in Pac-12 play. The Buffaloes shot 50 percent, one of six times that mark has been reached against Oregon State in a conference game.

Colorado has shot 50 percent or better in three of its last four games as well.
