People on the move
Tania May, PMHNP, recently joined Samaritan Mental Health in Corvallis. May earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from California State University, Fullerton. She has a master's in nursing from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash., where she completed the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist program.
Prior to her specialty training, May practiced as a registered nurse for 27 years. Her areas of focus included oncology, pediatrics, cardiac and mental health.

Marcia Minneti, formerly Schnoor, recently joined Windermere/Willamette Valley as a new member to the Corvallis office sales team. Minneti holds the Graduate Realtor Institute, Accredited Buyer's Representative and Certified Residential Specialist designations and has been a realtor for more than 12 years. She is also a member of the local, state and national Realtor Associations as well as the Women's Council of Realtors.
Reinvestment
The Weyerhaeuser Company Foundation has made a $500,000 gift to Oregon State University College of Forestry.
The gift will create an endowed scholarship fund to attract top students from diverse backgrounds to the college's programs in forest engineering, forest management, forest operations management and wood science and technology.

Samaritan Health Services recently received a consulting grant from the Society for the Arts in Healthcare to support the development of a strategic plan and long-range funding plan for the ArtsCare program established in conjunction with The Arts Center in Linn and Benton counties and the Oregon Coast Council for the Arts in Lincoln County.
Now in its fourth year, the ArtsCare program involves nearly 20 specially trained artists who work regularly with patients in areas such as dialysis, ambulatory infusion, medical/surgical units, cardiac rehabilitation, mental health and the Mario Pastega House.
Financial support for ArtsCare comes from individual donors, grants and from the participating organizations.

Oregon State University's Housing and Dining Services has been named the 2009 Ivy Award winner by Restaurants & Institutions Magazine for its demonstration of the highest standard of excellence in food, service and overall hospitality.
Housing and Dining offers 17 restaurants and cafes in four buildings around campus, ranging from pizzerias and coffee shops to delis and full-service eateries. It also offers catering services through OSU Catering.
