People on the move
Mary Lou Carey has been promoted to assistant patient care coordinator of Benton Hospice Service. Carey, who has been a nurse with Benton Hospice since 1993, will provide administrative support for the care of terminally ill persons and their families. Carey has been a registered nurse for 40 years; her other nursing experience includes hemodialysis, oncology, neonatal, ICU, and gerontology. Carey is a certified hospice and palliative nurse.

Lorne Mews was recently promoted to corporate vice president of Benton-Lane winery of Monroe. Mews, a certified wine educator who lives in Eugene, has held the position of national sales manager at Benton-Lane winery since his hire in June 2003.
While continuing to oversee most of the winery's national sales responsibilities, Mews will work more closely with Benton-Lane's winemaking and vineyard management teams.

Dr. James R. Naibert has been named the new medical director at The Corvallis Clinic beginning April 1. Dr. Naibert's new position will be half time, which will allow him to continue as a half-time physician in The Clinic's Immediate Care Center.
Dr. Naibert succeeds Dr. Alan Ertle, who accepted a position last December with Cascade Healthcare Community in Bend.
As medical director, Dr. Naibert will oversee quality and risk management, contracted physicians and providers, and physician leadership, as well as serve on professional standards and peer review committees. He will head medical department chair meetings and participate ad-hoc with The Clinic's board of directors.
Dr. Naibert was on The Clinic's board of directors for seven years, and was president for two years.
Dr. Naibert joined The Clinic in 1995 as a family practice physician at Albany Family and Specialty Medicine. He moved to the Immediate Care Center in 2007. He earned his medical degree in 1981 from the University of Iowa and completed his residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa.

Realtor Dave Pautsch has earned the designation as a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). Pautsch earned this designation by completing advanced training, as well as significant transaction requirements. Pautsch, an Albany resident, has been with Conser Realty and Associates for more than two years.
