People On The Move
Hugo Nava Sanchez has joined the faculty at the Corvallis Waldorf School as its full-time Spanish teacher, teaching preschool through eighth grade students the language and culture of Mexico. He is originally from Tlaxcala, Mexico, and has bachelor's and master's degrees in education from Oregon State University, where he specialized in bilingual education. Before moving to Corvallis, he taught music and art at Instituto Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz in Tlaxcala, Mexico. He has also taught first and third grades at Garfield Elementary School in Corvallis in the dual immersion program.

Jennifer Stitzel has joined the real estate sales team at Windermere/Willamette Valley, Albany. Stitzel recently passed the state and national real estate exams to obtain her real estate license. She has been involved with sales in the past, and helped to establish Trebelle Boutique.

Anne Fahy has joined RE/MAX Integrity as a real estate broker at the Corvallis office located at 365 N.W. Harrison Blvd. Fahy has 13 years of real estate industry experience.

Ana Norlander has recently transitioned from commercial real estate specialist to managing broker and principal-recruiter for Windermere/ Willamette Valley's Albany office. She received her principal broker license last December.

Mickey Bernhardt has joined the sales team of the Corvallis office of Windermere/Willamette Valley. She has been a Realtor for more than 2½ years.

Springboard Productions has changed its name to Springboard NW, LLC, to facilitate its West Coast expansion. It continues to provide professional development training and presentations for individual and organizations.
Officers & Directors
Dr. Michael Sheets, a board certified Corvallis and Albany orthodontist, has been elected to serve a two-year term as president of the Northwest Component of the Angle Society of Orthodontics. The component consists of orthodontists from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Hawaii, Alaska, British Columbia and Alberta, Canada. He previously served as secretary-treasurer, scientific program chair, vice-president and chair of the admissions committee, which conducts examinations for orthodontists nominated for membership.
The Angle Society of Orthodontists members are selected by their peers based on the quality of their patient treatment results.
Training & Development
Kay Dee Cole of the financial services firm Edward Jones in Corvallis has achieved the professional designation of Accredited Asset Management Specialist.
Cole successfully completed the Accredited Asset Management Specialist professional education program from the Denver-based College of Financial Planning. Those who complete the program, pass a final exam and sign a code of ethics and disclosure form earn the AAMS designation.
