The trailers of two trucks collided this morning and temporarily blocked the northbound lanes and on-ramp of Interstate 5 at the Knox Butte Exit (234) in Albany.

By 9 a.m. one of the trailers and its pickup was moved and northbound traffic was getting through.

Just north of the interchange, a heavily damaged small red car was in the shoulder. The condition of the driver was not immediately known. About 100 yards north of the car, a tractor-trailer was parked in the shoulder.

State troopers and ODOT were on the scene.
