CORVALLIS — Corvallis resident Catherine VanWetter achieved best-selling author status on several major books lists earlier this fall including Internet retail giant Amazon.com, where the book was No. 1 in the genres of motivation, inspiration and spirituality.
The distinction came for her contribution to the book “Overcomers, Inc., True Stories of Hope Courage and Inspiration” compiled by Lynne Klippel.
VanWetter’s chapter is entitled “A Time of Grief — A Time of Peace.” It is one of 38 stories shared in the book aimed to touch readers’ hearts and encourage reflection on what is truly important in life.
VanWetter, who works as an inner resolution facilitator of peace, compassion, forgiveness and love, is also the author of a book and meditation CD called “The Soul of the Heart.”
She will lead a discussion and be available for book signing at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at Grass Roots Books & Music, 227 S.W. Second St.
