“Into the Woods,” Lebanon High School — Lebanon’s first all-ages community musical will be performed from Aug. 6-8 at the high school. Adults, alumni, students and others are welcome. CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS
Registration for the OSU Craft Center’s summer membership and classes has begun — Craft Center membership is open to students, faculty, staff and the community. The Craft Center offers opportunities in ceramics, black-and-white photography, stained glass, glass torch work, weaving, sewing, painting, jewelry, woodworking and silk-screening. All levels are welcome from beginner to advanced. Classes are taught by a skilled craft instructor, with an emphasis on a small-group atmosphere and individual attention. Most classes began between June 27 and July 1, with some lasting only a weekend, and others going for a few weeks. Participants will learn how to turn a clear glass platter into a work of art using beautiful napkins. Participants will learn “reverse decoupage” which is applying pictures/napkins to the underside of glass so that you view the finished product through the thickness of the glass.
