A 25-year-old Albany man died Tuesday morning when the truck he was driving rolled near Wren, according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver has been identified as Christopher Lance Garrett. He was the only occupant of the truck and no one else was injured in the crash, said Sgt. Chris Duffitt.

Garrett was traveling eastbound on Cardwell Hill near Lillian Drive about 9 a.m. when he left the road for an unknown reason, Duffitt said. Garrett died at the scene. He had been driving a tanker-style Best Pots portable toilet truck, Duffitt said.

A crash investigation team responded to the wreck and worked the scene for four hours, he said. Investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash.
