Gifts for a Better World, a seasonal holiday store located in First Congregational Church at 4515 West Hills Road, is opening today at 10 a.m.

The store, which is in its 20th year of operation, features items produced by people from developing nations. Merchandise includes jewelry, pottery and other crafts from 30 countries. All profits will be donated to Corvallis-area charities.

Gifts For a Better World will be open every day, except Thanksgiving, from Nov. 7 to Nov. 29. The store's hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
