Graduates
Maria Hommes
Maria is graduating a year early and has supplemented the Mother of Divine Grace curriculum with a class at Corvallis High School and at Archbishop Sheen Academy. She enjoys theatre, dancing, singing, historic re-enactments and babysitting. She and Vanessa are both part of the AAA theater group. Her favorite part of the year is the Shrewsbury Renaissance Faire. Maria will be attending Western Oregon University, majoring in early and elementary education in the honors program. She received a presidential scholarship.
Vanessa Oberlin
Vanessa has taken a wide variety of classes ranging from theology to shorthand, Japanese to theater. She has been in a number of community plays and still considers theater her first love, although her service project with Los Embajaderos was a highlight of one summer. After a trip to Rome, she worked closely with her family in bringing gelato to Corvallis and starting Francesco's. Vanessa is working at a sushi bar and is undecided on her plans for next fall.
