Benton County deputies cited a Junction City man for driving under the influence of alcohol Wednesday night after he wrecked his pickup on Bellfountain Road.

According to information from the Benton County Sheriff's Office, Jeffrey M. Jones Sr., 49, was driving a 1986 Ford F250 about 7:45 p.m. when he missed a turn and drove off the road near milepost 11.

Jones, who was wearing a lap belt, was taken to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center for evaluation. He later was issued citations for driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving.
