Thefts and burglaries

• 9:45 a.m. Feb. 21 - a theft was reported in the 4400 block of Northwest Witham Hill Drive.

• 10:39 a.m. Feb. 21 - a theft was reported in the 400 block of Northwest Witham Drive.

• Between 10 p.m. Sunday and

8 a.m. Monday - a Sony laptop computer, a Bose headset, roller blades, a Gerber multi-tool, a hatchet, a Sound Screen amplifier, a nylon CD case with 70 CDs and miscellaneous tools were stolen from a white 1999 Dodge Neon and a white 2000 Toyota Tacoma in the 4500 block of Northwest University Place. Estimated value is $4,080.

• Between 5 p.m. Feb. 18 and noon Feb. 20 - a bright yellow

21-speed Mongoose mountain bike was stolen between Hawley and Poling halls, near Southwest Jefferson Way and 26th Street. Estimated value is $200.

• Between 4 and 11 p.m. Feb. 19 - a purple and green 21-speed Motiv men's mountain bike was stolen outside the Memorial Union, at Southwest Jefferson Way and 26th Street. Estimated value is $300.

• Feb. 20 - a Sony CD player was stolen from a tan Honda Accord 4-door near Wilson Hall, near Southwest Adams Avenue and 11th Street. Estimated value is $280.

• Feb. 20 - a green 18-speed Specialized Stump Jumper men's mountain bike with a speedometer and a women's seat was stolen outside Weniger Hall, near Southwest Monroe Avenue and 23rd Street. Estimated value is $400.

• Between the evening of Feb. 20 and the evening of Feb. 21 - a Mitsubishi overhead projector was stolen at Peavy Hall, at Southwest Jefferson Way and 30th Street. Estimated value is $5,497.

• Between 5 p.m. Feb. 21 and noon Monday - an Apple G4 CPU computer was stolen during a burglary of a room at Gilkey Hall, at Southwest Campus Way and Memorial Place. Estimated value is $2000.

• Between 5 and 6 p.m. Feb. 21 - a Palm Pilot and cradle were stolen during a burglary of a room at Strand Agricultural Hall, on Southwest Memorial Place south of Campus Way.

• Between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday - two Rockford Fosgate subwoofers in a box, Blaupunkt stereo, Rockford Fosgate amplifier and food were stolen from a white Honda Civic near Wilson Hall, near Southwest Adams Avenue and 11th Street. Estimated value is $408.

• 8:10 p.m. Saturday - an anatomy and physiology textbook was stolen from the sixth floor of the Valley Library, at Southwest Jefferson Way and Waldo Place. Estimated value is $150.

• Between 12 and 12:50 Monday - a black Giant men's mountain bike with red lettering was stolen outside Poling Hall, southwest of Southwest Jefferson Way and 26th Street. Estimated value is $300.

• Between 7:30 and 10 p.m. Monday - a Schwinn Frontier 21-speed men's mountain bike was stolen outside LaSells Stewart Center, east of Southwest Western Boulevard and 26th Street. Estimated value is $250.

• 10:45 a.m. Feb. 20 - a burglary was reported in the 1000 block of Southwest 11th Street.

• Between 10 p.m. Feb. 20 and 8:30 a.m. Feb. 21 - a purple and blue 18-speed boy's mountain bike was stolen in the 1300 block of Southwest E Avenue.

Arrests

• 7:40 p.m. Feb. 19 - Lisa K. Barbee, 33, of 104 S. 20th St., Philomath, was arrested on a warrant on a felony count of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a minor.

• 9:35 a.m. Feb. 20 - a man whose real name is unknown but gave an alias of Charles William Nardozzi, 44, of 27042 N.W. Sulpher Springs Road, was arrested on felony counts of possession of a forged instrument and forgery and on traffic violations for using an invalid license and giving false information to police.

• 6:40 a.m. Saturday - Gregory Elwood Gerken, 34, of 430 S.W. Eighth St. No. 1, was arrested on warrants for failure to appear on a felony count of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor count of driving while suspended.

• 1:25 p.m. Monday - Steven Marks, 32, of 300 S.E. Goodnight Ave. No. 76, was arrested on felony counts of criminal mistreatment and kidnapping and a misdemeanor count of domestic assault.

• 10:32 p.m. Tuesday - Troy Gail Madarus, 34, of 1210 N.W. Springhill Drive, Albany, was arrested on felony counts of sexual abuse and unlawful sexual penetration.

• Between 10 a.m. Feb. 11 and 11 p.m. Feb. 19 - a bank deposit key, large black ceramic Gothic mug, carved wooden staff, Emerson 13-inch TV/VCR combo, wooden three-shelved bookshelf and a picture were stolen during a burglary of a residence in the 26800 block of Oregon Highway 99W. Estimated value of the items is $300.

• Between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. Feb. 17 - an Olympus D-550 zoom digital camera, Motorola cellular phone charging cord and a CD case with 12 CDs were stolen from a white 1998 Dodge Dakota in the 29500 block of Camp Adair Road. Estimated value of the items is $530.
