Last week, we asked our online readers to let us know which annual fair or festival in the mid-valley was their favorite. Readers had 23 choices, ranging from air festivals to jamborees, and 389 celebrants gave us their answers.
A whopping 24 percent, or 95 votes, chose da Vinci Days in Corvallis as their favorite festival, followed by Fall Festival in Corvallis with 19 percent of the vote, or 75 votes. The Philomath Frolic and Rodeo was next at 11 percent, tied with none of the above, which received 43 votes.
The Benton County Fair was in fourth place with 34 votes or 9 percent. The Albany Timber Carnival and the Oregon Jamboree in Sweet Home tied for fifth with 4 percent each.
