Benton Furniture Share is selling raffle tickets to win a pair of three-day passes to the 2009 Oregon Jamboree, to take place July 31 through Aug. 2 in Sweet Home.

The Jamboree is described as the Northwest's premier country music and camping festival. This year's event will feature performances by Tim McGraw, Montgomery Gentry, Leanne Rimes, Mel Tillis and many more.

Raffle tickets are available for $10 each. The prize is valued at $250, and the drawing will take place June 12. Tickets are available at Minuteman Press in Albany; Tremel's Jewelry in Lebanon; and Umpqua Banks in Corvallis, Albany, Lebanon and Sweet Home. Tickets may also be purchased by calling Michelle at 754-9511.

Benton Furniture Share is a nonprofit organization, and proceeds of the raffle will go directly to families in need by providing them with beds and other furniture and household items. The need for assistance has increased by roughly 70 percent due to the economy.
