CORVALLIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
WEDNESDAY
ASSAULT 9:42 p.m., 500 block of Southeast Lilly Avenue. Officers arrested a 40-year-old Corvallis man after his wife accused him of attacking her. He was charged with fourth-degree assault, strangulation and driving under the influence of intoxicants.
FRIDAY
PUBLIC URINATION 12:46 a.m., 100 block of Southwest Second Street and 100 block of Northwest Monroe Avenue. Officers on bike patrol arrested two men in their twenties for urinating in an alley off Second Street. Fifteen minutes later officers spotted two different men, also in their twenties, urinating in a nearby alley. They were also arrested.
ATTACK 1:42 a.m., 300 block of Northwest 21st Street. An officer arrested Kori Thornburg, 18, of Pendleton when she reportedly tried to punch the officer, grazing his chin. He arrested her and charged her with assaulting a police officer, a class C felony, harassment, disorderly conduct and being a minor in possession of alcohol. Thornburg had a blood-alcohol content of .24 percent, which is three times the legal driving limit for an adult.
SUNDAY
SUSPICIOUS WOUND 4:49 a.m., 3600 Northwest Samaritan Drive. An officer responding to a report of a suspicious knife wound at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center arrested an 18-year-old Tigard man when he admitted he wounded himself while slashing tires at Oregon State University. Three cars with slashed tires were found as well as the knife with blood on it.

FRIDAY
WARRANT ARREST 4:45 a.m., near the intersection of Ninth Street and Grant Avenue. Deputies arrested Jacob Ellingson, 23, of Corvallis on an outstanding felony warrant. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance when deputies found a methamphetamine pipe in his possession.
CAR ROLLS OVER, 2:42 p.m., 17246 Highway 34, Alsea. A 49-year-old Newport woman was trapped in her car when it rolled over. She was removed by deputies and transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. She had a blood-alcohol content of .18 percent and charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless endangering and reckless driving.
POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 10:17 p.m. Deputies arrested Christopher Jeffrey Barnes, 21, of Corvallis after a traffic stop and charged him with manufacture, delivery and possession of a controlled substance and possession of burglar's tools. Deputies seized two grams of methamphetamine, a vial of methamphetamine and three packages of marijuana totalling 12 grams.
ASSAULT 11:45 p.m., near the intersection of Northwest 25th Street and Monroe Avenue. Deputies assisted Corvallis police in the arrest of Brandon Thompson, 21, of Corvallis when he made threats to stab people. Thompson was charged with assaulting a public safety officer and resisting arrest.
MONDAY
TRUCK ROLLS 4:40 p.m., near the intersection of East Ingram Island Road and Old River Road, Monroe. Deputies and paramedics responded to a call of a man trapped under his pickup truck. He was apparently trying to get mail from his mailbox when the truck rolled over on him. No further details were available.
