A swarm of tiny robots and a 3-D version of television's future are just two of the many attractions to be featured Friday at Oregon State University's 10th annual Engineering Expo.
A human-powered vehicle that can negotiate land, mud or water and a new reconnaissance robot that might serve a SWAT team also are among more than 100 student-built projects that represent OSU's best undergraduate engineering talent.
The expo is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the Kelley Engineering Center at OSU.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., tours of the Hinsdale Wave Research Laboratory are available. From 1 to 4 p.m., visitors can tour the newly renovated Kearney Hall and attend its grand opening celebration at 4:30 p.m.
Parking is available in the OSU parking structure at 26th Street and Washington Way, with shuttle service to all the events. The event is free and open to the public.
