An armed robbery was reported around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pilos Mexican Bakery, 954 Circle Blvd.

Police were looking for a man who displayed a dark revolver during the robbery, according to unconfirmed dispatch reports.

The man was described as 25 to 30 years old and 5-foot-7 with a medium build. He was wearing a white, long-sleeved hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a blue and white cloth over his face.

A police officer was conducting interviews at the scene shortly after the robbery.

Police cars, their overhead lights flashing, were parked at Highland Drive and Circle Boulevard, Garfield Avenue and Highland and Garfield and Ninth.

No other information was immediately available, and police remained at the scene late Tuesday.

The robbery was the third in Corvallis in a week.

On Dec. 4, a man robbed Washington Federal Savings at 1111 N.W. Ninth St. at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Two days before, just before 5 p.m., a woman robbed Key Bank at 1817 N.W. Ninth St.

In both bank robberies, the robbers displayed a demand note and left with undisclosed amounts of money.

The man in Thursday's bank robbery was described as a white male in his 50s, between 5-feet-6-inches and 5-feet-7-inches tall with a medium build and a large nose. He might also have been wearing a long-haired gray wig, but that had not been confirmed. He escaped on a bicycle.

The woman in the Dec. 2 robbery was described as 5-feet-4-inches to 5-feet-6-inches tall with a medium-to-heavy build. She fled the scene on foot, wearing a dark cap with a light bill and dark blue zip-up coat with a red undershirt.
