Starting today, readers will find another comic strip to check out: "Get Fuzzy" by Darby Conley.
To make room for "Fuzzy," the "Classic Peanuts" strip has a new home in the classified advertising section, where readers also can find the daily crossword and the Sudoku puzzle.
Last month, we tried out "The Brilliant Mind of Edison Lee," which might return at a later date. This time we'll try out "Get Fuzzy" for a few weeks.
As many fans already know, "Fuzzy" is a wry portrait of single life, with pets. "At the center of this warm and fuzzy romp is Rob Wilco, a single, mild-mannered ad executive and guardian of Bucky and Satchel, anthropomorphic scamps that still live by their animal instincts," according to United Media, which distributes the comic strip. "Bucky is a temperamental cat (is there any other kind?) who clearly wears the pants in this eccentric household. Satchel is a gentle pooch with a sensitive soul who tries to remain neutral, but frequently ends up on the receiving end of Bucky's mischief."
